Order your typical size. If you wear a half size, round down. For example, if you generally wear a 9.5, round down to size 9. If you generally wear a size 7, stick with 7.
The shoes will mold to your foot because of the leather, so don't worry about them being a bit snug!
For over two decades, Rafael has handcrafted beautiful shoes using traditional Argentine techniques and indigenous textiles. No one pair is mass-produced; no two pairs are exactly alike.
Rafael sells his shoes at a local artisan fair in Argentina. Tourists crowd at his stand, buying many pairs at a time to take with them overseas. A true family business, Rafael's son tends to the stand on weekends and likes to speak with customers.
I love my Patos and the bag they came packaged in! The pattern is beautiful.
Although my Patos arrived as described they have proven useless to me. When I ordered size 10, I expected them to be (43) like all American sized shoes. Sadly they are only 42. A complete waste of $120 US.
These are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The buying experience was perfect. And knowing that I helped a local artisan was the icing on the cake. I highly recommend!
Besides the obvious aesthetic appeal of the shoes and its signature/authentic heel textile, Patos are INCREDIBLY comfortable. They really do mold to your foot. The fit is perfectly snug. I've never felt so comfortable in a shoe. Patos made me think I had done shoe-shopping wrong my whole life! Get yourself a pair now!
Our shoes are made in EU sizes. Use our size chart to find which EU size you are based on your US size. If you already know your EU size, select that one.
How PATOS sizes run: PATOS are slightly narrow and run true to size. If you don't have wide feet, select the size that you normally wear.
If you wear a half size: If you wear a half size, and don't have wide feet, round up to the next size. For example, if you have narrow feet and wear US 7.5, your best fit is likely an 8.
If you have wide feet: If you have wide feet, we suggest buying an entire size up. For example, if you typically wear 7, you should probably get an 8.
If you have wide feet and wear a half size: If you have wide feet and wear a half size, you should round up 1.5 sizes. For example, if you wear 7.5 and have wide feet, we suggest ordering size 9.
If you wear a number of different sizes: If, for example, you wear a 7 in some brands and 8 in others and don't know which one to base your size off of, you should probably go with the larger size.
